LUMÍNIC is the photography festival of Sant Cugat del Vallès, which has been promoting author photography since 2019. LUMÍNIC transforms Sant Cugat del Vallès into a meeting point for photography enthusiasts. It takes over the city to explore the photographic phenomenon, creating new spaces for knowledge and reflection with an inclusive and participatory approach. With a week of opening events and two months of activities, the festival offers a comprehensive program featuring exhibitions, talks, workshops, and roundtable discussions.

Juan de la Quintana's project SUBLIMA was exhibited at LUMÍNIC 2024, both with printed copies and huge vinyls that adorned the windows of the exhibition space.
